'Ello. I don't really have much to say at the moment. This is a bit of an introductory as I haven't had the chance to speak to anyone, but I may as well give my pre-game thoughts and what I plan on doing in the early goings here. So it's the start of this shindig. In the start of Survivor's, my starting strategy is to usually just be a middle man. I don't want to look weak or anti-social which is an easy cop-out to write someone's name down on. Additionally, I don't want to have a strong, tribe leader-esque role. While that may keep me around, people get paranoid with those types and they begin to be targeted right before the midpoint of the game. So I'm going to show up for challenges, keep my tabs on people, but stay relatively lowkey. When challenges come, I'll just listen to what other people tell me to do but show that I am an asset over others who either are struggling or don't show up at all. I'm not going to try to get myself wrapped up in alliances, but I am going to keep my ears in gear and eyes on the prize while observing what people are saying. If an alliance forms in the early going, I'll roll with the punches, but they'll eventually be tossed under so they can be broken up nice and easy. Usually alliances being formed now are alliances of people who know each other outside the game. These types of bonds need to be broken up...now. Letting them get to the end could be suicide. That's about all I got at this point.

'Twas only able to get my AIM linked today so I guess I may be a little behind when it comes to communication. I may send some "hi" PMs around challenge time if I'm not able to catch anyone else on AIM. So far I've talked to Jaime, Yul, and Charlie. All seem like good dudes but, really, you can't judge anyone in the early goings of the game. Everyone's going to be nicey nice and whatnot, true colors come out later on.
But overall, we have a pretty active tribe with quite a few inactives here and there so should there be a few challenges we lose, we have quite a few easy targets. I'm going to try to be on as much as I can and talk to be socially rather than strategically just to show my presence and have people think of me as a good asset.
We shall see how the dice rolls.

Immunity is going rather well. I was tempted to start a chatroom with the guys when it first started, but I opted not to. I don't want to make myself look like a leader of sorts. But, other than deciding what letters to pick, this challenge is pretty straight forward anyway.
Hopefully I'm around to give it another go later on. We have twice as many posts as their girls right now so I assume we're winning.

Welp, we lost. I'm not overly surprised, every time I checked in today we weren't doing so hot. Unfortunately I was heaps busy today and wasn't able to help until it was too late. I would say I'm very vulnerable right now due to my slow start in the game and this little bump in the road. This challenge didn't fare well with me at all, so I guess we'll just see how the dice rolls. I'm hoping that the tribe will maybe want to take someone out like Adam or Erik. Everyone really stepped up though.
Should be interesting.

I forgot JP was even in the game until the Tribal Council, but easy out is an easy out. Farewell to him.
Now, a few of things of note...
First of all, Charlie & I were talking the other day about possible pre-alliances and having to break them up. He told me that Rafe & Ozzy were actually besties. Now, I was tempted to make an alliance with Charlie on the spot and propose that we round up a few floaters and lesser tier people on the tribe such as Erik & Adam to keep ourselves safe from a possible power alliance, but I held back. I have to sniff around to what Charlie's up to. Just out of the blue telling me this, he could be testing my reaction. Ozzy & Rafe are two strong members of the tribe so banding the troops against them wouldn't be a wise decision. If Charlie were to rat me out, I'd be history, no question about it.
So I'm just going to nod my head in agreement and watch as the dominos fall. I don't want to let things get too down to the nitty gritty where I really need to pull something out of my ass to defend myself, but I also don't want to swing the sword too soon.
As for this challenge, it's brutal. I've been doing the current puzzle I'm on for two hours and I'm currently taking a break. I'm dead tired, but I can't stop now. Yul made a dreaded mistake by finishing his puzzle and hitting his "home" key by accident to take him off the page. Yul's a strong guy to the tribe so holding it against him wouldn't be in our best interests. Hopefully things run smoothly and we're able to win. If not, this is looking to be a long road of frustration.

Yes, Yul did make a dread mistake. Interesting development with Charlie.

Heh, well that worked out nicely. Rafe quits, which breaks up the small concern about his & Ozzy's pre-alliance. And two girls are removed which now makes things all even.
But of course, now we have a tribe switch - or so I think. This could be both a good thing and a bad thing. The good thing is that I can completely revamp and renew my social game which I feel hasn't been entirely the best. The bad thing is that if the girls are united, which is very likely as they never been to a TC, I could be a toast if they have majority. What I need to do is find myself a crack and put a sledgehammer to it. Bust that bitch wide open and let the water flow in. Let the townspeople panic and hopefully have me overlooked. It's gonna be tough, but with hard work I think I can survive this. That is the name of the game, after all.

Well....that didn't work out so well, LOL
Christ. Yul AND Charlie, the two people I considered the best potential allies both traded away to a female-dominated tribe. I feel they're probably doomed, which ain't too good.
As for me....not sure what I'm going to do yet. I think a good option now is to bond with the ladies, let them feel like they won't get picked off with me around. Perhaps now is the best possible time for an Ozzy blindside or an Erik pick-off. We shall see how the dice rolls. In the meantime, I gotta get cracking with some social game-a-rama.

Ack, weekend got me behind schedule again. Anyway I'm good with Yasmin, just need to get the other ladies. I'm praying that one of these girls aren't aligned with one of the men or my ass is grass pretty fast. But, I think I might get picked off due to my activity problems pulling me behind so may as well try to rock the boat a little bit. Maybe I'll get lucky and someone will fall overboard.

Oh wait, did Tina really quit? Fuck that noise. Well, I can forget about any blindside plan in that case, I guess I'm just going to have to go back to nodding my head and trying to show I'm a good asset. In any case, winning IC is a MUST. It looks like the ladies are going to take out Adam, which I don't particularly mind anyway.

Fell asleep early but thankfully I got woken up at 3 AM and the challenge was still going on. Even more thankfully, Abaddon has fallen behind big time. I should be on all morning so hopefully we're able to take this by around afternoon.

Well, it's good to be back. A chance at retributation is great, although I'm not holding my breath. I'm entering a tribe that already has it's sides decided. If I try to rock the boat too much, I'm going to be sent right out. On the contrary, I could be sent out if I don't really do much either. Double edged sword situation, basically. So, I have to go with what my gut says.
As for this IC, I'm going to throw it on purpose - I may even no-show it on purpose to try to make people think I'm not completely active again. In this stage of the game, getting out threats is a must. I know I won't win, so I'm not going to put up a valiant effort to try and go "look at meeeee I'm a threat!", I'm just gonna sit back a bit.

Yep, it's a fine line coming back into the game as second chance. I came back in one of my other games I've played. The other person I came back with was voted right back out because he did the "look at me". So I sat back and floated through. Made it all the way to F4...NOT BAD!!!
